Our Christian Community
In Christ, all are ‘happy, inspired and loved’.
St Jude’s is a church school committed to the spiritual, moral, social, cultural and educational development of our children.
Our school provides the opportunity to be a valued part of a community that celebrates the Christian faith while being inclusive and respectful of all religions in our diverse community.
School life is distinctively Christian within a broader spirituality, which encompasses all beliefs respected in the community we serve.

Our Church Links
We are a Voluntary Aided Church of England Primary School with strong links to our parish church, St
Matthew’s in Brixton.
St Matthew’s is a Church of England Parish Church in the Anglican Diocese of Southwark.
Reverend Stephen is the incumbent at St Jude’s and he visits us regularly to lead Collective Worship. He is also a member of our Governing Body.
We also have strong links with Herne Hill Baptist Church.

We work in partnership with the Churches to nurture our Christian values, which are at the heart of our school ethos, culture and vision.
Together we strive continually to support the spiritual moral, social and cultural development of all our children and our St Jude’s family.
The whole school attends services at the churches to celebrate Christmas and Easter.
