11th January 2016 – SRE parent workshop – 3.45pm — 4.45pm

June Fraser, a Personal Health and Social Education Consultant will lead a session on SRE   (Sex and Relationships Education) this will be an Informative workshop about all areas to be covered next term. Parents from years 2,3,4,5, and 6 will find this useful.  A letter will be sent out separately with further information.

22nd January 2016 – Individual Education Plan Meetings – All Day

Parents with children with IEPs will receive an appointment time.

27th January 2016 – Maths Mastery Session for year 1 parents – 9.00am – 10.00am

Find out how the new Maths Mastery lessons are taught in this classroom demonstration, led by Mr Winn and Miss Booth.

10th February 2016 – E-Safety Session for parents – 3.30pm – 4.30pm

Learn about how you can keep your child safe online, how to apply safety settings and use social
networks safely.   This session is part of E-Safety Week which is an important part of our E-safety Quality Mark that we are working towards this year.

11th February 2016 – Meeting for year 6 parents – SATs – 3.30pm – 4.30pm

Meeting for year 6 parents regarding the new SATs arrangements in May 2016.

25th February 2016 – Meeting for year 2 parent – SATs – 3.30pm – 4.30pm

Meeting for year 2 parents regarding the new testing arrangements for Key Stage 1 SATs in the Summer Term.

2nd March 2016 – Key Stage 1 Parent Workshop – 3.45pm — 4.45pm

This session is for parents of children in Reception, year 1 and year 2.   Parents will find out how to help their child in maths at home.  Learn about the new maths curriculum, as well as learn new skills and ways to solve calculations!

9th March 2016 – Key Stage 2 Parent Workshop- 3.45pm– 4.45pm

This session is for parents in years 3, 4, 5 & 6.  Parents of children in year 2 will also find this useful. Learn about the new maths curriculum, as well as learn new skills and ways to solve calculations!

14th & 16th March 2016 – Parents Evening – 4.00pm– 6.30pm

FOCUS WEEKS

These weeks offer children additional learning opportunities which are creative and challenging.  There may be dress up days, so look out for further information in our newsletters!
