Black History Month – Family Learning Challenge – Autumn 2015

Thursday 1st October marked the beginning of Black History Month. To commemorate the amazing achievements of the Black community the theme of this term’s whole school project is ‘Record Breakers’.

Children are invited to be creative and to interpret this theme as they wish. We have given a few examples but we are looking for original ideas too!

To celebrate the children’s efforts and achievements, class teachers will choose a project that really stands out. The winning project will win a special prize.

All projects should be returned by Monday 23rd November, 2015.

A great website to start you off is: https://www.blackhistorymonth.org.uk/section/bhm-firsts/
